Haha it was real fun to watch Notre Dame and Hopkins square off. Lacrosse still isn’t all that popular in the Bay Area but it was nice to see such a turnout! It was a pretty close game too, the two were never more than 2-3 points away from each other. I hope even more people come to watch next year.

Such bullshit! Aren’t they in the midst of building a new sports center for the stupid football team? Why don’t they skim a little from the fucking football department? Or perhaps reducing coaches salaries? Some of them make upwards of a million dollars a year! What a waist. Along with baseball, gymnastics and lacrosse, they are reducing rugby to “varsity club” (whatever that means) because of title IX. They’re the only sport we have that consistently wins! They are the best team in the country! Instead of adding women’s sports programs, all Title IX does is cut men’s programs. Rugby wouldn’t be affected if they kept women’s lacrosse. It’s just sad when these programs have been around for over a century. We’re losing part of the school’s heritage.
